Grace Community Church is a non-denominational church that focuses on having a real and true relationship with Jesus Christ. We throw the “rules and regulations” of religion out the window and focus on truly Glorifying God in all we do.
Joining God in people's lives to help them become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
[Jesus] "Those who want to come with me must say no to the things they want, pick up their crosses every day, and follow me." Luke 9:23
Show respect for everyone. Love Christians everywhere. Fear God and honor the government. 1 Peter 4:17
Be devoted to each other like a loving family. Excel in showing respect for each other. Romans 12:10
God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve on another. 1 Peter 4:!0
Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God's people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ, Ephesians 4:11-12
Grow in spiritual strength and become better acquainted with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 3:18
So, warmly welcome each other into the church, just as Christ has warmly welcomed you; then God will be glorified. Romans 15:7
The act of baptism is a public declaration of your commitment to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. This is your way of sharing with everyone that you have received the Spirit within you and God asks you to share this with other believers.
Our team is here to serve Christ and follow Him wherever He leads. Our greatest desire is for people to come to know Him. Let us know how we can help you grow in your relationship with Christ.
"So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors, and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up." Ephesians 4:11-12
We pray that after each sermon you leave with the tools to make changes in your life that will help you walk with Jesus throughout your day-by-day lives and through every struggle you may face. We encourage you to read your Bible and be in fellowship with other believers far beyond just Sunday mornings. It’s not about coming to church every Sunday morning and continuing your week with your Bible left on the shelf until the next Sunday. Jesus came so he could be in a relationship with us, not for religion.
If you want to know more about our Sunday sermons, we invite you to watch the previous sermons. You are also welcome to contact us with any questions you may have at admin@gccjohnstown.com
Many times you'll see Grace Community Church as GCC. We were inspired by this with the "G" & the "C". But most important, at the center of it all is the cross. Jesus is the center of everything we do here at Grace and we want the world to know who created all things and who holds all things together. We are here because Jesus first loved us and gave up his life so we could live forgiven and free.
The colors have just as much meaning. The green represents growth, renewal, restoration, and hope. The blue represents trust, calm, honesty, peace, and grace.
